I am available to design all sorts of projects, especially editorial and printed matter such as brochures, leaflets, annual reports and business and personal stationery. I have nearly 30 years experience in the publishing industry, having worked for the Daily Mirror, The Observer, The Independent, The Independent on Sunday, the Daily Express Saturday Magazine and Prima magazine. I have also worked in contract publishing and have been freelancing on a variety of projects for nearly 10 years.

THE GARDEN CLASSROOM
For the past three years I have been responsible for designing leaflets, flyers, stationery and logos for The Garden Classroom. TGC is a non-profit social enterprise providing outdoor workshops and learning experiences for primary school children. The literature is almost exclusively aimed at teachers and needs to clearly and comprehensively provide all the information necessary so that these busy professionals don’t have to do more research but can contact TGC and book straightaway. The organisation is dependent on grants and similar other funding and I work very closely and economically with a small team.

Part of a series promoting a drama-based holiday club for
8-13 year-olds. The brief was to create a Victorian playbill look without using images. Aimed at parents & carers.
THE METROPOLITAN PUBLIC GARDENS ASSOCIATION
In early 2015 I was approached by the MPGA to overhaul their annual report. It was nicely printed on glossy paper but they left it to the printer to do the layout and it all looked rather chaotic & haphazard. I provided a cleaner, more coherent design and improved the picture quality.

KING HENRY'S
WALK GARDEN
For many years I have designed posters and leaflets and newsletters on a voluntary basis for King Henry’s Walk Garden, a beautiful community space in North London. I initially had a plot there but my involvement continued even after I gave this up. It was through KHWG that I started working for TGC and the MPGA.
